A very merry Christmas!!

Short and sweet

Just been doing a quick one for a friends Dad to give to his wife.  Last minute ideas are always handy so a few die cuts and punched out flowers on 3d pads, some gems for sparkle and a computer printed greeting make for a modern looking quick and easy card.

it's cold outside...

but it's an excuse to stay in and make some cards!  It's to snow tomorrow (yippee!).

Been working hard getting stuff together for the Christmas fair on Sunday.  Got some packs of toppers, colour your own cards and of course some ready made cards done, just not so sure I have enough?  Will post some pics of my stall if I get the chance.

Thought I'd try my luck with the comp on pink petticoat to win a mm slice with these cards.  Never put my stuff forward for anything like this before, wish me luck!

Managed to put a link to my ebay my world page, not got anything on at the minute but it's worth checking from time to time as I quite often have a clear out and have cards, toppers and all sorts of stuff on there.

Peace at last!

This is the first day I have had to myself for weeks!  No builders (waiting for paperwork), no kids (school) and no hubby (work).  Just as well really as I have a pile of cards to make that people have ordered, wonder if I will get time to make my own Christmas cards to send this year?  Will post some pics later if I ever get round to making some!

At last, some cards!!

Well, at last I managed to get some cards done, so here they are...

....been playing with those lovely forever friends stamps a lot and of course you can never go wrong with pink petticoat papers and image stamps.

The building work is coming along nicely too, hope to have it all finished by Christmas!

What a week!!

What a week I've had!  The builders are still turning my garden into a mud pit, my house looks like a bomb has gone off, one kid is at school camp and I have spent most of the last week at hospital with one of my wee boys.  poor thing, didn't moan at all when they put in drips and did blood tests but threw a right freaky getting his blood pressure taken?!  Anyway, everyone is fighting fit again and I might even get around to getting more cards made soon, not long now until christmas!!

The builders are in!

Yip, my house is being ripped to bits!  I have no window in my kitchen and my conservatory  is gone!  Never mind, should have a nice new extension soon.

Last day of the hols

Well, that's it, the hols are almost over! The kids go back to school tomorrow, the oldest starts secondary! How time flies.

It's my birthday!

Went to the beach today and of course had to get a bit of shopping in as well.  Got stocked up on papers to do christmas cards!  I know it's only August but needs must, ran out of time last year.

Wow!  It has been the most amazing thunder here today.  It will be nice to be able to sleep for a change now that it's not so hot and sticky.

Was intending to settle down in front of the tv to watch a movie but low and behold I need my sky pin and I have no idea what it is!  The sky web site is down so no one can help, looks like it's back to ordinary telly for me.

Just maybe...

...I have got the hang of this? Seem to have managed to put a song on? Next thing to tackle is the piccies! Been doing a few anniversary cards so will see if I can figure out how to put them on and let the world, well, you anyway, have a look.

Not so sure I have the hang of my camera yet, my new baby, my canon digi slr, call me old fashioned but I still like to use it on manual settings!
